Rice Soufflé
A delicious dessert to share with your loved ones that can be easily prepared in 20 minutes! Dare to try this fancy but facile recipe!
Ingredients:
- -150 gr rice
- -100 gr. sugar
- -50 gr. butter
- -3 eggs
- -500 ml milk
- -1/2 lemon
- -1/2 tablespoon salt
- -1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Preparation:
- First, you need to wash the rice and drain it. Place the rice together with the milk and salt over medium heat. Be careful to stir it from time to time because it can easily stick to the pan.
- When cooked, add the sugar; stir and let it boil. After that, take it off the heat, incorporate the butter and let it cool. Meanwhile preheat the oven at medium heat.
- Take a baking dish and coat it well with butter. Stir the egg yolks together with the rice, vanilla essence, lemon juice and lemon zest. Beat the egg whites until they create foam, incorporate them into the rice, stirring gently.
- Pour everything into the prepared baking dish and let it ripen for 10-15 minutes, until it gets a golden brown color.
The pudding can be served warm or cold, with jam or fruit.
