Creamy Stew with Seafood
I chose to try out this dish in order to reprise my boyfriend for one of our anniversaries. It is perfect for a romantic dinner! The wine gives it a special flavor. I also chose to serve it together with garlic bread and I also recommend this combination to you!
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 minced onion
- 2 celeries, chopped
- 1garlic clove, crushed
- 175 ml of white wine
- 300 ml of chicken broth-
- 1 tablespoon of starch, mixed with 1 tablespoon of cold water
- 400 g mix of seafood
- 1 small bundle of dill, minced
- 5 tablespoons of sour cream
- garlic bread, to serve
Preparation:
- Heat up the oil in a large frying pan and fry the onion and the celery, until they get tender – for about 10 minutes. Add garlic and fry the composition for approximately 1 more minute. Pour the wine on top of the vegetables and simmer it over high heat until it completely evaporates.
- Add the broth and starch mixed with water and boiled together for approximately 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the seafood and almost all of the dill. Cook the mixture for 5 more minutes, and then add the sour cream.
- I chose to add garlic bread to this recipe; I consider it to be a great combination. While you are cooking the dish you can prepare the garlic bread in the oven.
Divide the stew into bowls and serve sprinkled with dill and garlic bread.
