Broccoli with Garlic and Lemon
This is a dish which I recommend to be serves as a side dish, preferably with meat (that was my choice when I cooked it…) it takes approximately 15 minutes to cook and it has 90 kilocalories, which is great for some of you who are on a diet.
Ingredients:
- -2 pieces of broccoli, chopped into pieces
- -3 tablespoons of olive oil
- -5 cloves of garlic, mashed
- -zest from 1 lemon
Preparation:
- Boil water in a large pan.
- Add the broccoli and boil it for four minutes or until it softens slightly.
- Heat up the oil in a large frying pan, add the garlic and fry it until it gets a golden color. Afterwards, add the lemon zest and leave the mixture over heat for a minute.
- Once the broccoli is cooked, drain it well, and mix it with the rest of the composition from the frying pan.
